The annual meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) took place last week in Washington, D.C. This week, our COVID-19 update will consider the current state of COVID and explore future directions by recapping some of the cutting-edge presentations at IDSA. The presenters will be two of our own ID experts who attended the meeting: Lisa Winston and Monica Gandhi. We’re honored to be joined by Carlos del Rio, who this week became the IDSA’s president.
