COVID vaccine mixing | What does the data tell us?

Share

In this video, I’m going to talk about COVID vaccine mixing. This countries start to open their borders people who have received one vaccine and a different second vaccination are worried that they’re not going to be able to travel across borders simply because of the vaccines that were available at the time.

I want to look at data about COVID vaccine mixing from 2 large studies in Canada as well as to look at vaccine efficacy and the optimal timing of the 2 injections. Ultimately, each country will decide about whether to accept travellers who have received mix-and-match vaccine doses. The date of those shows that COVID vaccine mixing as was performed in Canada provides just as good protection against infections and hospitalizations as those that did not have a mix. Other vaccine topics are reviewed as well.
