Keynote speakers included: Gregory Poland, M.D., director of the Mayo Clinic Vaccine Research Center and leading voice on the scientific evidence supporting the benefit of COVID-19 vaccines; Caroline Poland, M.A., licensed mental health counselor and certified clinical trauma specialist of Poland and Associates Consulting; Raj Palraj, M.B.B.S., M.D., Mayo Clinic Health System infectious diseases specialist.
Panelists addressed the current state of COVID-19 cases, virus variants, vaccination and booster recommendations, psychological trauma and mental health implications of the pandemic, and treatments available to combat infection.
