Vaccination is a topic of significant discussion when it comes to COVID-19. A new study was published that explored vaccination status on how contagious a person is looking at those who were fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, and unvaccinated. They also looked at AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Moderna Vaccines.

In addition to that, they swabbed each person daily and looked at their viral loads (or the amount of viral genetic material they had) and their viral cultures (or whether they had “live” transmissible virus) in those who were fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, and unvaccinated.

Interestingly, they found no difference in viral loads for any vaccination status, but they did find much faster clearance of “live” virus and less contagiousness in those fully vaccinated. Let’s talk more about this!
